Vivo in una splendida regione: la Toscana, grazie all'interesse per tutto ciò che è arte, sono riuscita nella vita a misurarmi con le mie inclinazioni: inizialmente fashion designer, illustratrice, grafica, cake designer fino ad approdare al mondo in 2018 dell'OOAK, un mondo ancora poco conosciuto in Italia rispetto ad altri paesi esteri.
Qui ho finalmente trovato la mia dimensione, in questo spazio sento di poter dare sfogo alle mie passioni e vorrei non smettere mai di realizzarle.
Le mie OOAK sono bambole da collezione, provengono tutte da un progetto iniziale che non ho mai messo su carta. Di solito inizio pensando al tema, poi vado alla ricerca di un volto che possa ispirarmi e della posizione della figura. Quando sento di essere sulla strada giusta, mi dedico all'abbigliamento; un processo minuzioso che passa attraverso la scelta dei tessuti, dei colori, delle passamanerie e degli accessori.
Il pensiero creativo è tanto gratificante quanto frustrante, perché l'ispirazione non arriva sempre al momento giusto o non arriva al momento giusto. In questa fase mi dedico allo studio di nuove tecniche e materiali, traendo ispirazione anche dalle opere di grandi artisti.
La pratica è l'altra faccia della medaglia, solo grazie a quest'ultima puoi capire quale materiale e tecnica di scultura sono più adatti alla tua manualità; e quindi acquisire memoria muscolare.
Ho iniziato partecipando a due corsi durante i quali ho appreso le basi per la creazione di OOAK; Trovo che siano stati fondamentali non solo per ridurre i tempi di acquisizione ma anche per confrontarsi e condividere le proprie passioni.
Conservo con cura il mio OOAK creato in quei corsi; mi ricordano sempre quanto ho imparato e quanto devo ancora imparare.
Soprattutto dalla mia passione, dalla fantasia e dall'ostinata ricerca del perfetto realismo, nascono le mie bambole che raccontano storie di personaggi modellati con la cura di un miniaturista: riccioli fatati, ali di farfalla, abiti da principessa, e poi ancora sirene e fate del bosco, perché in fondo è da qui, da questi dettagli infinitesimali e piccolissimi che spicca il mio lavoro, quello di una donna, che non ha ancora perso il cuore leggero e caparbio di una bambina.

I usually start by thinking about the theme, then I go looking for a face that can inspire me and the position of the figure. When I feel I'm on the right track, I dedicate myself to clothing; a meticulous process that passes through the choice of fabrics, colors, trimmings and accessories.
Creative thinking is as rewarding as it is frustrating, because inspiration doesn't always come at the right time or doesn't come at the right time. In this phase I dedicate myself to the study of new techniques and materials, also drawing inspiration from the works of great artists.
Practice is the other side of the coin, only thanks to the latter can you understand which material and sculpting technique are best suited to your dexterity; and thus acquire muscle memory.
